Hi,

I want to setup the default printer (local) inside an rdf file in report 6i.

Can you help to perform this ?

Thanks in advance.

[EDITED by LF: fixed topic title typo; the original was "ref" file]

Thanks for answer,

I have an .rdf file wich i can edit by oracle report 6i.

I want to configure the default printer for this report.

Normaly, this report is lunched from forms application. But me, i don't have access to modify the forms(.fmx). I can only edit the report (.rdf).

It is possible to do this ?

So
This will help you each and every thing with examples.Find about destype and desformate, and also check if you have local printer installed.

PRINTER_TRAY

Above first URL is the one i prefer.

Good luck

I have many local printers.
I think Printer_Tray define trays in the default printer only. Not in others.

The printer that i want to choose is not default.

I tried to use (Destype and Desname) . It works when i execute the report from report builder. But when it executed by forms it choose the defaut printer.

Any Idea ?
