It is not so. You select shared common components, select theme details under which edit printer-friendly and do your need.

I also didn't know about that.

Hello Shan,
You can set page as printer friendly by

Clinking on page name to edit it in Page Rendering Section,
Going to Display Attribute section,
And by setting Page Template as Printer Friendly.
