how can i change the write area in isqlplus GUI.

Go to preferences...And set your Input area size.

Check before using if it is obsolete or not!

Better no more use/rely on iSQL*Plus, it is obsolete.

Oracles own replacement for iSQL*Plus is SQLDeveloper.
