hi all,
I'm new to the shell script and i need someone to explain me on this. I already execute the shell script and facing error like below:

/u01/orauata/fmsuatappl/xbol/11.5.0/bin/XLTHBSMBBI.prog[9]: ^M: not found
/u01/orauata/fmsuatappl/xbol/11.5.0/bin/XLTHBSMBBI.prog[12]: ^M: not found
/u01/orauata/fmsuatappl/xbol/11.5.0/bin/XLTHBSMBBI.prog[15]: ^M: not found
/u01/orauata/fmsuatappl/xbol/11.5.0/bin/XLTHBSMBBI.prog[18]: ^M: not found
/u01/orauata/fmsuatappl/xbol/11.5.0/bin/XLTHBSMBBI.prog[22]: ^M: not found
/u01/orauata/fmsuatappl/xbol/11.5.0/bin/XLTHBSMBBI.prog[25]: ^M: not found
/u01/orauata/fmsuatappl/xbol/11.5.0/bin/XLTHBSMBBI.prog[28]: ^M: not found
/u01/orauata/fmsuatappl/xbol/11.5.0/bin/XLTHBSMBBI.prog[30]: syntax error at line 37 : `do
' unexpected
/u01/orauata/fmsuatappl/xbol/11.5.0/bin/XLTHBSMBBI
Program exited with status 127

here i paste my shell script as references.

Remove ^M (carriage return, chr(13) at the end of the lines.

This question bears no real connection with Oracle.
Please find a more appropriate forum.
