Hello,

I'm retrieving some valors from excel, these are numerics and i have to put them into a text variable.

The problem I have is how to substr to avoid the characters is putting at the end such us the end of line or end of file.

Thanks in advance.

If I interpret your question correctly (which, I must admit, is not very likely), I would say: use rtrim()

What does Oracle, SQL or PL/SQL has to do in this question?

Michel
