hi
i have form6i , the data_entry needs to search while he enter data in specific column (subject column).
for example , when i entry data when i enter subject i want to list contain the same word in database that i wrote so i will know that there is the subject is already exist .
so what can i do to solve this problem

Create a 'record_group' based on this database column, then base an LOV on the 'record_group' and associate the LOV with the forms item. You can specify that the LOV appears automatically, and some time in the future you can also use the LOV to validate the contents of the item.

i do this , it works but the list firing after saving so
can i check this list during entering data

What do you mean by "list firing after saving so"?

What do you mean by "check"? If you mean validate, then set 'Validate from List' to 'Yes' at the item level.
