Hi all,

I would to know how to write messages from pl/sql without waiting the end of the procedure or trigger to see message.

Because DBMS_OUTPUT does not write immediately.
Thanks.

PL/SQL does NOT interact with client, it executes ONLY on server.
A PL/SQL block is atomic and returns back only when it finished.
However you can write through a pipe or in a file or... and read it.

Michel

To be fair, as long as your front end can still do things while the pl.sql is running, there's no reason why it couldn't use dbms_output.get to retrieve the messages that the code has written.
