Hi all,

I would like to know the difference between Production and Preproduction environment oracle database.


Please tell me what are all the activities that can be done in production and preprod environment.

Depends. The meaning usually varies a little from company to company.

Usually production is used for production (the "real" work that the database needs to do) and preproduction for anything prior to production. (the "test")
