Hi all,

i got "Join invalid identifier" error when i have execueted the below query.

SELECT JOIN (CURSOR (SELECT TRUNC (hiredate, 'month')
FROM emp), '|')
FROM DUAL;


Please help me how to use the JOIN and SPLIT function in oracle10g?

There is no built-in.
Check this custom code.
By the way what do you want to achieve?
Give sample data and expected output.
