Choose your options.
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/rac.102/b14197/rmanops.htm#BABBBGCI

Mount in single-instance mode with restricted session and exclusively.

The steps to put the database in archive log mode as just as same in a single instance database.

Thanks for your help,

I want to have a step by step procedure to enabling archivelog mode with more details. For example : is it mandatory to set parameter (log_archive_dest_1) in both nodes ? in what order ?

Thanks Sad

Yes.
The best step-by-step instructions are in manual which is already provided.

Thanks for your help,

But I want to be sure that my archivelog setup is correct.
So this is the output of command line archive log list.

1)Node1 : archive log list
Database log mode : Archive Mode
Automatic archival: Enabled
Archive destination: M:\
oldest online log sequence: 752
Next log sequence to archive: 753
Current log sequence: 753

2)Node2 : archive log list
Database log mode : Archive Mode
Automatic archival: Enabled
Archive destination: M:\
oldest online log sequence: 269
Next log sequence to archive: 270
Current log sequence: 270

Please tell me if something is wrong !! Razz
