Hi,

I am using oracle 10g on solaris OS.
My scenario is as follows:
Server A -- Catalog DATABASE
Server B -- Prod database
Server C --

I have registered B in A and started rman backup.

Now i have to restore that rman backup in C, so in that case i have to register C to catalog also.

I have created pfile from the pfile of the prod datbase on C.
Started databse(on C) in nomount stage.
Now i comes prob how to register this C into catalog(A), becz it not allowing me to restore controlfile.

Let me know if i am missing any of the steps.

Thanks
