Hi,
I add below
sql_trace = TRUE
in initrman.ora in rman instance ??
SO, if I use rman to back up the database ??
Will it affect the loading of system ??
how much the loading increase if I add sql_trace in rman instance ???

What is the purpose to add sql_trace to your rman catalog database?

Hi,
Actually, we find the rman instance crash suddenly without season. We want to collect more info next time it crash again .
that is the purpose to add sql_trace in rman instance !!

What is in alert.log? Any file in trace directories?

No data in alert.log file .
No other data is found in the log ..
So, that is why I need to set sql_trace to get more data
next time the crash is found !!

SQL trace will not give you anything about instance crash.
If you are sure there is nothing in alert.log and trace files then the reason is outside Oracle.
