is it posible to control.REGION size & position in Apex ?

Like in D2K.. CANVAS >PHYSICAL

width=

go to your Region "Header and Footer" section

type in the "Region Header" :

while you are creating a new region under name clause you shall find region attributes where you can define your style as height and width as 300px and 200px or whatever you want.
