I am trying to create a database using DBCA on the final step when i click finish it says error 01031: Insufficient privileges and installation aborts. Any inputs please how to proceed further and what am i missing here.

Be sure your OS user is in the ORA_DBA windows group.

Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer management -> Local Users and Groups -> Groups
