hello all,
what is the meaning of staleness in dba_mview showing as ERROR ? how to fix it ?

Its just a guess, but I would think the value ERROR means that some refresh was attempted on the mview and it failed.

Try refreshing the mview manually from sqlplus and see what happens.

Most descriptions of this column are pretty crappy offering only a "circular defintion" of some kind. This link is a little better.
