Hi, I'm new to pl/sql and I can't seem to find a simple update command reference.

Here's the standard SQL version:
UPDATE cdr_temp_feed AS f, cdr_did_ranges AS r
SET citi2citi = 'Y'
WHERE f.ltrim(f.dest_number,'011') >= r.START_RANGE And f.ltrim(dest_number,'011') <= r.END_RANGE
and CALL_TYPE = 'Overseas';

This works well enough in Sybase (where I spent the last few years) but not in Oracle.

What's the equivalent SQL for oracle?

Thanks,
Sashi

Oracle can only UPDATE 1 file at a time is 1 problem that needs to be changed.

When all else fails, Read The Fine Manual
