Hi,
The report server hands sometimes and restart of the report server works.And when we run few reports from application server after couple of hrs it takes long to open and atleast it gives 500 internal error.not all the reports.but the same report works fine sometime..

can anyone suggest me some actions.

What does the log file show?

Try http://appserver:port/reports/rwservlet/showjobs?server=reports_server_name

Or for the physical log file, it should be in something like this:

/opt/app/oracle/product/10.2.0gas/10gmid/reports/logs/reporst_server_name

There is an issue that OC4J_BI_Forms is re-started from time to time.

It MAY BE the issue. Refer to Metalink note 261867.1
