anybody knows how to insert data in orale table from Text File Or Excel File.

pls Help.

There are ways, and I guess that most of them have been discussed on this Forum. Search for SQL*Loader, CSV files, external tables, OLE (and perhaps something else, which might be specified by other forum members).

You can easily move data from text file to oracle database,but first you need to Pl/Sql Developer and then go to tool menu on click to text Importer.to this option you will have to define column & as well as data type.

UTL_FILE Package can also be explored to upload the data from file.
