Execute forms 6.1 from external (third party) application [message #415700]

My client has an application developed in Forms and reports 6.1.
In a new project, I need to "integrate" my web application with Forms. By "integrate" I mean to execute (open, call or similar) their application after that some events occurs in my webapp, executing Forms with some parameters for that event.

Is that possible?

No idea. Have a look at the "Oracle Forms Upgrade Center" at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/htdocs/upgrade/index.html and the various Oracle Forms pages off http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/index.html

Is there "Forms and Reports 6.1"? Is it not 6i?

Well Littlefoot, I am not an expert in Oracle products.... that's what my client says.

I guess that upgrading is not an option for my client, but I 'll take a look at those pages.
