Hi All,

We are currently setting up a online DR solution and we have been asked by our provider to set up a tape backup device in Oracle for this to work.

Given that my expertise is not in Oracle and the vendor that provides the application that runs on Oracle do not provide such support for us I was wondering if someone would be able to help.

I already have a backup solution working with BackupExec 12.5D running the Oracle agent however this has only got a disk device configured and I need to setup a tape device for the new backup software (Asigra)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS I would like to keep the desk device as it is while creating the tape device.
