Hello,

I have a key to 27 characters and I want to expand to 33 characters with 6 null characters at the end.
how can I do this?

Simply use the alter table command to expand the column. I assume that it is a varchar2 column. The use of CHAR is not a good idea and is normally the sign of a rookie. Any column may be expanded. It may be reduced in size only if the column is null.
