Hi experts iam new to this forum
When we use materialized views,what is the advantage of using that?Please help me?

A materialized view is, in essence, a pre-executed query who's results are stored. These results may be completely up to date, or they may be accurate as of a certain time.

The advantage of a materialized view is that you can query it directly without incurring the costs of executing the query it was based on again and again.

Additionally, there is a process called Query Rewrite where, if your SQL contains a query that is similar to an existing materialized view, then oracle will rewrite your SQL to select from the Mview instead.
