I have a table test1 with records in it.
There is another empty table test2 with few columns similar to test1 table.

The requirement is to first assign variables to each of the columns present in test1.
Using these variables insert records into the test2 table for the similar columns. Can someone pls help me how to achieve this.

This can & should be done with only pure SQL & no PL/SQL variables are required.
