hi dba's

i have a question. before that i'll explain my scenario.

i have a staging table where there is a lot of dml happening everyday.

100,000 inserts
100,000 updates
100 delete

by the end of the week, table would have

100,0000 rows
100,0000 updates
1000 deletes

the size of the table grows every day & on a weekend, we issue a delete on the table, deleting 90% of the data.

1/ now my question is, should we schedule rebuilding indexes on this table on a weekly basis?

2/ should we be running dbms_stats.gather_schema_stats OR analyze on this table everyday / week?

pls send in your expert thoughts.
