Hello all!!

I'm a newbie in Oracle and have a problem: when i'm calling one of my procedures from a webservice, this error message appears: PLS-306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'STP_RETORNA_CAT_ADMTIPOCAMBIO'. The idea is to extract the contains of a table based on a specific date.

The query that make this goes as follows:

IF p_operacion = 'S'
THEN
OPEN p_catalogo FOR
SELECT *
FROM historial_tipo_cambio
WHERE DECODE (to_date(p_fecha,'mm/dd/yyyy'), null, SYSDATE, fecha) =
DECODE (to_date(p_fecha,'mm/dd/yyyy'), null, SYSDATE, to_date(p_fecha,'mm/dd/yyyy'));

Any ideas???

Regards IA

So you're passing the wrong number of parameters to your procedure or one or more of the parameters is the wrong datatype.
To help you sort this problem out we'd need to see:
1) the specification of STP_RETORNA_CAT_ADMTIPOCAMBIO
2) the code you use to call it.

You've supplied neither.
Can you please use code tags next time you post code.
