Hi everey one
i have a connection to a remote database.

sometimes network have some problems, so i the remote connection is locked.

how i make a test on remote connection is run okay or not befor i request it.

i'm read about tnsping but can't find any code to used it in my application.

Anyway you have to wait for network time-out.
So ask you sysadmin to decrease this one.

It must be done at TCP/IP level, ask your sysadmin.
