Hi friends
We have an Oracle 9i r2 Standard edition database. Since this version does not support Data Guard, I am manually copying the archived log files from production db to the physical standby db.
The log files are applying to the standby db. But when I tried to do a switch over it says the following
startup nomount;
alter database mount standby database;
alter database commit to switchover to primary with session shutdown;
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-16139: media recover required

how can I get this proble solved?
Thanks in advance
