Hi All,

I require two things:

1. Extract table names from a program. They can be in a DML/DDL statement in the scrip. Scrip can be PL/SQL or a BTEQ

2. Can only the queries be extracted from such programs? They can be select /update/insert etc.

If someone has worked on any of these, please let me know the procedure.

Regards,

How about variables in dynamic SQL that contain a table name?

Michel, Don't ask questions! Just give 71408 the answer. C'mon, have you leaned nothing from his awesome posts Smile Or maybe we should wait for him to repeat the question adding something like "I need a solution!" before you post the full answer (including full documentations and test data scripts of course)

What it a BTEQ in this context?

The only references I can find to it are all TeraData ones, not Oracle.

I've seen your posts. They are pretty good. Unfortunately now you just stepped into a pile of shit by answering this mental patient. I hope you know the name and location of a good psychiatric center.
