Hi,

I am using form Version 10.1.2.0.2
Menu Module=DEFAULT&SMARTBAR

I need to disable the samrtbar icon
the command as following
SET_MENU_ITEM_PROPERTY(menuitem_id MenuItem, property NUMBER, value VARCHAR2)

the " menuitem_id" is my point.
Actually, i wanna disable the "exit" icon, but i don't know the accurate name of menuitem_id (as or similar to "exit")
How and where i can get the name of menuitem_id ??

Is there anyone can help me?!

Thanks,
Hung

I wouldn't know the answer to your question. Perhaps you could code it in the KEY-EXIT trigger which would then have a single line:
null;

However: how will you exit the form if "exit" is disabled?

Searching this forum for 'DEFAULT&SMARTBAR' will return http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/101402/0/

This points to http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/87656/67467/?srch=smartbar+disable#msg_87656 which suggests looking for 'MENUDEF.MMB' and 'MENUDEFS.MMB'.

Unfortunately they don't appear to be part of Oracle Developer Suite 10g. However, searching the Develoepr Suite for '*.mmb' did turn up 'OFGMNUT.MMB' in C:\DevSuiteHome_1\cgenf61\ADMIN Opening this menu shows the menu item names used when the Designer Generator creates a default menu, for example 'action.exit'.
