When a deadlock occurs what are the things to look into?
From which table I can get more information?

Do you mean a proper deadlock, where one of the sessions gets forcibly rolled back and gets an error message displayed, or do you just mean that a session is waiting on a lock?

If it's the latter, look at dba_blockers and v$global_blocked_locks.
