SELECT CAPTURE_NAME, FIRST_SCN, APPLIED_SCN, REQUIRED_CHECKPOINT_SCN FROM DBA_CAPTURE
/

CAPTURE_NAME                    FIRST_SCN APPLIED_SCN REQUIRED_CHECKPOINT_SCN
------------------------------ ---------- ----------- -----------------------
STRMADMIN_CAPTURE                 5849123     5923615                 5922284


Can someone tell me why REQUIRED_CHECKPOINT_SCN is less than Applied SCN ? i created a test stream setup and configured one table in it.and made just one row deletion .

I would suggest you to go through the definitions of these terms in Oracle streaming document.Please ask if you still
dont understand.
