Dear Friends,

I have a user contains around 50 tables. out of which one table contains BLOB data. Now my problem is i need to create an insert script and run this in production. Is there any way other than export and import.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks in advance

Our problem is that we do not know exactly what type of data source is your input.

Are you doing an Oracle to Oracle database transfer?

>script
Scripts are Operating System dependent & you decided we did not need to know OS name or version & did not provide Oracle version to 4 decimal places.

Will you create a new account for each of your post?

Try DataPump for instance.

Use toad and create insert script and run in your production database

Why would you advise on buying a third party tool just for this task if Oracle provides the tools necessary for free?

Even i have tried that with Toad also, but it is not giving me proper insert statement. Is there any special option for creating insert script for blob data?

Thanks

Why do you want insert statements when you have the tools to do it more efficiently?

datapump is an oracle tool that comes with the database so it'll already be installed.
