And who are you to make that call? Yes, I disagree with the attitude that BlackSwan takes towards some posters, but to demand punishment get off your high horse. (and I shall do the same)

Funny names are exceptible as yours but a name that has tempted meanings should not be kept/allowed in an educated forum.
EVen Maaher pic is abusive in such forums.
What these people trying to convey?

Edit:Its not about considering.Names should be decent enough to be called.

How does it look for example: Pablolee responding Delna.Sexy?

No offences to any one.

I think people should loosen up a bit.
Being so tight about a name, because it has "Sex(y)" in it, now come on man.
One f-ed up nation in the world would suffice, I'd say.

Yes,only one f-ed up nation would suffice because in another f-ed up nation when a pregnant woman goes to the hospital, the first question the doctor asks is:
Are you married?

Be with it.

Really? Exactly what nation are you talking about? I know it's certainly not the Country that I come from. And what does it have to do with what people choose to use as their usernames and avatars? Are you implying that the names and avatars chosen here in some way are responsible for the attitudes of some doctors towards women who have children outside of wedlock? A rather strange correlation I would say.

I read it in NewsPaper. It was the case of USA.It was not the attitude of doctors as you misinterpreted and you misinterpretd completely. The question by the doctor tells hell lot about that civilization and how common it is to have babies before marriage[and you know what does it take to have babies].That was in response to Frank comments.See the context.

Do you know the second question the doctor asked?
Will you leave the child here or take with you?

To some f-ed up nations, everything is fair as long as you enjoy.

Oh well then, it must be true, and absolutely would never have been misreported or sensationalised.

No it doesn't, it tells a little about that doctor.

You have a problem with children being born out of wedlock? What exactly is your problem with this? If itt is religious, then please do not reply as I have absolutely no time for that kind of drivel.

Yes I do, but I don't get your point (although I have a feeling that it is likely to be some misplaced sense of morality based on ancient writings from millenia ago).
I have a feeling that this is likely to degenerate into aan argument that goes way, way outwith the scope of what these forums are all about, let's avoid topics such as religion and comparisons of the relative morality of different societies.

Now from where does religion come into picture?
It is you who is talking about religion.I never used the term religion in any context neither I meant so.
I was just trying to make a point that in education forums such pics/names or anything else should be avoided.Thats it.

To Moderators:
Instead of using message ID in reply to,Can we have names instead?

Why? I do not find them remotely offensive. Why do you?

So? What's wrong with that?

Ok I, maybe mistakenly, took your moral standpoint to be borne of religious belief, so are you telling me that your morals are notreligion based (or is that another question that you are going to decide not to bother answering?) Most of the moralistic objections to reproduction occurring outwith a conventional marriage(a topic that you chose to bring up whilst talking about usernames and avatars) tend to be from misguided religious belief systems.

I never meant to offend anyone, so I've slightly modified my avatar.

It is a part of one of the most famous pictures of mr. Cash. I use this avatar on several forums, an I rarely had any comments on it. But I understand this is an international forum and as a (little less active) moderator I should perhaps have a less provocative profile.

Edit: I've noticed that I can't change my avatar (tried in IE6 and FF3). So you'll have to bear my current one. Frank Naude, if you have the time, could you be so kind as to look into this? Thanks!

MHE
