I'd use INSERT statement. And, in SQL*Plus, probably set define off. Besides, why didn't you search the board first? It has already been asked (and answered).

Are you kidding? Have you seen some of his questions? I didn't mean for this to sound mean (although it does sound that way), but ramesh does not show any signs of progressing in his learning.
