Hello all,

I was writing a sql to extract all the parent costcentre and product details from Oracle apps the query is completing within 5 min but when i m giving a record count in toad its taking a huge time, more than 4 hour still running and even for extracting the data in the form of .txt file

Could you please let me know how can can i extarct the bit fast within 20 min?

Your help is much appreciated.

There is a huge difference between displaying a subset of the resultset of a query and the complete resultset.
How long does it take to get the complete set? Also 5 minutes?
