Can anybody please kindly guide me how to work multiple developers on a single package?

In the sense if any developer is working how do we know that a particular package is being locked by a developer? So that he will not touch that particular package.

if any package has been chnaged by two develpers and got the application proglem how do we revert that package to previous version?

I heard about SVN and CVS for the physical files. How can we implement this version system in our PL-SQL packages and procedures which are lies in the Oracle Database.

Please kindly guide me.

Thanks and regards,

SQL Developer allows you to use some versioning.
A database is NOT made for versioning code but to store and retrieve business data.
