1. some one explain the difference between SQL & PL/SQL

Hi Ananth

1. What does your research tell you is the difference? You post what you think, and we'll tell you our thoughts (well some of them anyway).
2. You really need to check the documentation for that kind of thing.
3. In a SQL query. You'll need to be more specific as top your needs.
4. That's not a question, it's a fragment of a sentence, put some effort in Wink.
5. Once again, check out the documentation.

Basically, everything that you have asked can fairly easily be found if you put in a bit of effort and read the documentation which you can find at http://tahiti.oracle.com happy studying.
