try to remove/delete file but got following error.
ORA-29291: file remove operation failed


My code is:

UTL_FILE.FREMOVE( v_path, FILENAME);


I also granted previlage to the above directory but still in vain.
Any solution

You need to help us by following the Posting Guidelines as stated below.

If you do it correctly, it works.
When you do it incorrectly, you get error.

Oracle is too dumb to give phony error message.
Therefore, you must be doing something wrong or not doing something correct.
It is error of commission or error of omission.

ORA-29291: file remove operation failed
 *Cause:  A file deletion attempt was refused by the operating system.
 *Action: Verify that the file exists and delete privileges granted on
          the directory and the file.

Privilege at OS level for the user that started the listener or oracle installation user.

The main issue was that i was closing the file after calling fremove. Instead this, file should be close before calling fremove, so that it can be deleted.
Its the same as we get an error if we try to delete any file that i already open in windows environment.
