I am fairly new to OBIEE and BIP (< 6 months). My problem is this: I created a sales report in BIP that is selectable by period and zone from a seperate COGNOS data source and brought it into OBIEE dashboard. The problem is I am unable to enter a diferent zone or period than the BIP default. None of the data is representative in the answer section. If I create a presentation prompt it is not tied to the SQL within the BIP datasource.
