Hi all,

I have a need to connect to GE iHistorian from Oracle database to get tag data into Oracle db. I couldn't find anything that allows me to establish direct connection from Oracle to iHistorian. Can this be done or are there any other ways to do this?

Would appreciate if some one who has tried can share their knowledge.

Thanks in advance,

What vendor & version of data store in used by GE iHistorian?
If the datatypes involved are only numbers & text letters,
one possibility would be to dump from GE iHistorian into text file & then load into Oracle.
