Hi,

i am using 5 different users in the same database
i want to prevent the the one user to access the other
users objects


so i tried,

SQL> grant sysdba to pace_masterdbo;
grant sysdba to pace_masterdbo
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01031: insufficient privileges


how to solve this ?

So why are you doing anything?
Users do not get access to other users objects by default.

Further, why do you think that granting a privilege will in any way stop a user from seeing another users tables?

Are you sure you want to grant FULL READ/WRITE access to the database to a user?
