Hi, i am searching a way to create a form with a field to capture a handwritten signature with a touchscreen.
i need to create form with a "field" , "area" or whatever then can be used to "draw" a signature and then store it in the database.
how can i do?
the user only must paint its signature on the screen and press a button to store it.
sorry my english, its not my native language xD

Can you do this at the command line? That is, open a window, capture the signature, and save it as a file?

no, i can't. it must be done inside the form. with some kind of field or Ole container or something.
but if i have push a button in the form for opening a window to capture........ what kind of window may I open?
whatever will be in that window can be put in the principal window of the form.

If you don't have a tool running on your PC that can do the work you need done then Forms has nothing that it can invoke.

You will need to find a tool and then invoke it from Forms.

Yes. Search this forum for 'paint' or 'word' or 'excel' and you find numerous threads on the subject.

Also look at:
Host and client_host and fileprotocolhandler
CLIENT_HOST('cmd /c rundll32 url.dll,FileProtocolHandler D:\ORACLE_FILES\SAMPLE.DOC'
