Hi We want to use Oracle forms source code to be stored on Linux and connect to Oracle database that's loaded on windows machine.

1)Linux 5.2 server is ready and Oracle AS is loaded.
2)Forms source code is dumped into Linux machine.
3)Database is created and application dump is Imported on a windows machine.

Now what are the steps to configure the application to connect to database in windows machine and giving access to users?

Do I have to load forms and reports builder into Linux machine?

Thanks in adv

You must compile and generate the forms and reports on the Linux box. The Linux box must have the information for the database on the other machine in the 'tnsnames.ora' file.
