Has anyone ever run into the issue of being unable to create an export dump file because the file exceeds 2GB? If so, what did you do to get around it? Is there a way I can export the file directly to tape? I'm running Solaris. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Version? If you are on 8.1.5 or later, you can use the filesize parameter to break the export into multiple files of less than 2GB each.

I've attempted named pipes in the past, and have been wildly unsuccessful. Do you have any examples that I could follow? Thanks!
