I have column with the following data

1001/98
1002/2007
91/2001
92/99
93/2001
101/88

I want to bifurcte the values before the slash and after the slash value in to two columns.

Kindly help me out..

SQL> with data as ( select '1001/98' d from dual )
  2  select substr(d,1,instr(d,'/')-1) p1,
  3         substr(d,instr(d,'/')+1) p2
  4  from data
  5  /
P1   P2
---- --
1001 98
