Hi,

how to execute the following command

INSERT INTO F_SYSTEM (SYS_SEQN ) values (SELECT SYS_SEQN FROM F_SYSTEM_BKP)

I am getting missing expression error

Try it without the VALUES.

In short you cannot use values and select query in the way you have executed. It's not a valid syntax. For more information check the link.

Hi,


while i am trying to execute the following script i am getting the error.

CREATE TABLE Bk_A as select * from A;

Note :In table A i have one column as LONG RAW datatype...


Can you pls tell me how i execute the above query to take all the contents of A table.

This is one of the prices you pay for (ab)using obsoleted datatypes.

The solution is to convert LONG to LOB.
or
export/import
or
write PL/SQL
