Based on the information provided, there is little help that we can provide.

Is the problem reproducable?
Has anything unusal been done before the problem occurrs?
Is this the only error that occurrs?
What does the code you ae running look like?
What version of Oracle are you running?

What is your OS?
Do you use distributed transaction?
Do you use COM?
Do you use deferrable constraint?
Full environment description is required to make a diagnose.

Michel

For the above questions

1.this is first time we are getting
2.nothing unusal had been done
3.Another error has been occured after the above said error (i.e.)ORA-00600 -internal error code occured
4.It tries to insert
5.Oracle 10.2.3.0

Thanks,

Ah Ah! This is the most important information.
ORA-00600/ORA-07445/ORA-03113 = Oracle bug => search on Metalink and/or call Oracle support

Also you didn't answer to my questions.

1.Linux is our OS
2.No
3.COM means
4.no such constraint

hi,
The ORA-00600 has been fixed but the reason for occuring the ORA-24761 is still a great question mark

And then the error has been occured in package ,here the package call a function in that just some condition have been raised and issue has been occured
this is my investigation against it but i cannt understand why the issue has occured

thanks,

Has the error you are reporting occurred in a run of the batch job that didn't get the ORA-600 error?

This would be so much easier if you would show us some unedited output from your batch job, rather than us having to prompt you and hope that you think something is important enough to mention.

Did the ORA-600 error get reported in the same error stack that you got the ORA-24761 in?

Can you paste the error stack that you got when the batch job failed?

What do you mean?

Do you mean:
1) In a single error stack, the ORA-24761 appeared on one or more lines above the ORA-600
2) In a single run of the batch script, the ORA-24761 war recorded by your error logging code before the ORA-600 was recorded
3) A batch run happened and terminated with an ORA-24761, and a subsequent batch run terminated with an ORA-600

What you need to do is look at your posts, and say 'Have I provided enought informatino for someone who knows a lot about Oracle, but ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about what software i've got, what processes I perform, and what my situation is to be able to understand what's going on'.
