I am using a POST RECORD trigger in my form inside which I have to call a stored procedure. Inside the stored procedure i am making a few DML operations and hence i need to commit these changes to the database . But when i use commit or form_DDL('commit') inside the procedure I get an error sayin Ilegal operation of commit inside procedure. It is not letting me use commit inside the procedure since its gettin called from the trigger .
I have to use the post trigger trigger to call the procedure and also have to commit the DML changes. So please someone tell me how could i use the commit inside the trigger or is there a workaround for this.

Thanks and Regards

Just out of curiosity, what version of forms and database are you using?
