hello all. this is my first post here and i have a question.

how to know which button the user pressed (Save or Cancel) in the save file dialog by GET_FILE_NAME built-in.

the thing is whatever the user presses, the code just continues.

i want the code (under when-button-pressed trigger) terminates when the user presses cancel, and when presses save do the right thing.

Thanks Alot.

THANKS FOR your REPLY AND FOR THE FORM....IT REALLY HELPED.

and also i figured out a solution lets say :

file_path := GET_FILE_NAME(...);

IF file_path IS NOT NULL THEN
do_the_right_thing;
