hi guys ..

i was wondering if there was a way to get the path of the developer suite's working directory into the form , is there a built-in to do that? is there any other way that u can suggest?

I'm not sure I understood the question ... Oracle 10g Developer Suite's forms are supposed to run on the web. An end-user will open his/her web browser (such as MS Internet Explorer) and use this application.

What do you call a "working directory" in this case? Which directory is it?

sorry,i guess that wasn't clear enough, i was talking about the value(path) added in the formsweb.cfg ,ex:

WorkingDirectory=c:\forms

which is where my forms are saved on disk ..

it's a developer suite installed on the client side for backup & trial purpose , & i want to get the client's working directory not the application server's,
can client_win_api_environment.get_working_directory do that?
if not which path exactly does it return? sorry, i haven't tried it yet .. hope u can help.
